The Official Dogs of Fun Doggie Holiday Gift List
Yes, it is that time of year where there's Holiday cheer and I can guarantee your dog will be expecting a gift come Christmas morning. And I know you don’t want to disappoint your pup, none of us do. As a proud dog mom, I started holiday shopping for my furry children. They already have toys and treats wrapped alongside the rest of the family gifts. The trick is to include a yummy treat in every package to entice them to open their gifts. As a dog photographer, I encourage you to use this gift opening photo-op as the pups always look extra cute when opening their goodies.
In addition to the classic gifts, I want to share some other ideas your dogs are sure to love. I know my dogs are for sure getting at least two of these (if not all).
A VERY nice doggie bed. After all the Holiday fun, snacking, and running they will need their beauty sleep. Here in South Florida, we are lucky enough to have outdoor weather all year long and my pups need regular naps. Thankfully, Casper makes one of the best dog beds EVER. REALLY!
A remote camera/treat dispenser. Is a gift for both of you and Fido. The pups will get treats while you are away and you get to see your doggies during the day. Check out Petzi Treat Camera. This is how I will get to see my pups more often while I am out on dog photoshoots.
Is your pup ball obsessed? My Boston Terrier can definitely play fetch for hours, so iFetch is a pawsome gift. This automatic ball thrower works even if you are not at home. Now you have a new must-have item you didn’t know you needed. You are welcome!
Festive dog treats! Visit your local dog boutique and gather some of the cutest Holiday-themed treats. You can even place them on a holiday plate to include the pups in the family Holiday dinner. We all get to celebrate together.
Last, and definitely not least, the DOGBRELLA. Yes! We all need this. Here in Florida, we get rain approximately 8 days a week during the rainy season. This nifty device will allow your dogs to go out and take care of business and not be to bothered by the rain.
Did you get any of these gifts for your dogs? I would love to hear about their reactions. Stay in touch via social media: Instagram and Facebook: @dogsoffun, and email firstname.lastname@example.org. And don’t forget about the perfect gift for yourself and all the dog lovers in your life: the gift of dog photography.
As a professional dog photographer, I love seeing my clients' reactions when they get their images. It is awesome to see how much they love having professional photographs of their dogs and memories they will cherish forever.
Have a pawsome Holiday season!
